Would You Like to Fly? SNAGS

Yesterday was a different day, for sure.  The weather both today and yesterday was gorgeous, warm and just right for the pool but also for flying.  Yep....Megan's early graduation present to herself was skydiving.  She and a friend had it planned for a while.  I knew about it but not the exact date.  She talked her sister into going also so Joe and I went to observe.  I did a photoslide of it.  Not the best because I resized the pictures so they didn't come out as clear as they should.

It was fascinating, amazing, a myriad of things all rolled into one just watching.  I'd love to do it but don't have the money right now.  It's tandem jumping with an instructor with you.  I'm not sure about other states, etc. but it's the law in Pa. to tandem jump at first.  Megan love, loved it!  Megan is my daredevil who'll ride every single ride in the amusement park.  Poor Becky got nauseous but did see it through to the end.  Megan's instructor was flipping them upside and all around.  13,000 ft in the sky.  The plane looked like an ant.  Megan is living with Becky now and school starts tomorrow for her and Joey also.

Prayers/good thoughts, etc. needed again.....my brother's wife is severely ill and in the ICU.  She's 58, started running a fever a few days ago and now most organs are just shutting down.  She's in an excellent hospital here barely hanging on to life and no clue, at this time as to what is wrong.  They just keep doing test after test.  She has always been extremely fit and eats so healthy.   I know my relationship is strained with my brother and his wife but truly I do pray that she gets better.  My brother is beside himself.  I actually feel terrible for both ofthem.

Someone asked me about tutorials and PSP.  I rarely do them because they never seem to come out right or something is forgotten.  I use parts of tutorials at times.  The top tag and bottom tag are both adapted from the same tutorial but changed somewhat.

AND....am I doing 10 hr days ASAP?   Nope....weird hunh?  I fussed for two years but am somewhat apprehensive about doing it again.  Don't know why but I think I'll wait a while.   Now, how about that???  Surprised the family, for sure.

HUGS to all...........CHRIS

It's the law here too...  I'd love to give it a shot but I know I'd puke...   years ago would have been better.  LOL   Sending good thoughts for your SIL...
Weather has been good the past few days here but earlier this evening a wicked storm blew thru dumping a good 2 inches of rain rather quickly.  GRRRRRR

I thought for SURE you'd jump back in to those 10 hr days... I would, I think... LOL!!!   Sending prayers up for your SIL, scary when the organs start to shut down.  My dream is to do a tandem jump.... I've always thought that when I reach goal weight, that'll be my reward..... Hmmm... We'll see.  LOL!!

oh, I voted that you would go back to 10-hour days; but that would be hard to do after 8-hour days

will keep your brother's wife in my prayers

WTG for Megan and Becky!! I enjoyed the pictures!! I think I could do the tandem jump with an experienced pro holding on to me, LOL; proud of them for taking the "plunge" so to speak!

enjoy the week ahead!

I could never do any skydiving!  I would freeze, and they'd have to push me out, then I'd probably have a heart attack!! lol  I'm glad they enjoyed it though.

I can just imagine that you had your heart in your throat but you were SOOOOOOO proud! WOW..good for them....they'll want to do it again and talk about this for the rest of their lives.
I am truly sorry about your SIL. I have a friend at work who has a SIL, in her 50's, and she could not pee for 2 days and is dying now in the ICU from renal failure, also was healthy too. Sad. PLEASE keep us updated on your SIL. Thanks for the GORGEOUS tags! I AM surprised you are not doing the 10 hour days.
I LOVE YOU MY FRIEND.

The pics were awesome!  And yes, Megan did look like jail bird!
I did a graphice with an animated frame like the bottom one completely by accident.  The center was suppose to be animated and I used a plugin calledd "Center tile" & Viola I ened up with something really cool.  Funny how that works!  hugs,  Bethe

I loved the pictures.  It is the law to tandem at first in the states I know of also. Good idea, actually, because what if a novice just freaked?
For some reason I have always wanted to do bungee more than this, but no one wants to go with me. ~Mary

Love the graphics. I don't have a clue how to do them and wouldn't know what to do without you guys that share them.  FINALLY did an entry in my journal. Outpatient surgery today. Entry was supposed to be a quickie. Mine never are.
AWESOME that the girls went skydiving. I don't think I could do it. How old are your girls again? LOL Tom is still looking for a girlfriend (He'll be 27 in Sept). He is a great guy (oh, I'm not biased. LOL) & will make someone a wonderful hub & provide. Someone who can appreciate him. When we were at Sprint the other day exchanging my phone the little gal waiting on us was a complete doll. Of course I am ALWAYS trying to pick up girls for him . You would be surprised how many phone numbers I have gotten for him (if he''s with me and doesn't know what I'm up to!) Of course they are probably pretty afraid of his crazy mother. this girl was 27 but has a boyfriend.I said...you know my phone number...call me if something happens. She just laughed. I got home I realized I had forgotten to return the charger so I told tom about this girl & asked him if he wanted to take it back to Sprint for me. LOL HE DID!!! He waited 30 min until she was free to give it back to her. They had a quick conversation and he basically told her the same thing...well you have my cell number, so give me a call if you are ever free! She probably thought we were nutjobs.1 girl he met at a club gave him her number they went out & she called him a couple of days later & told her she felt so guilty that she had to call ...she is married. He liked her & it really pissed him off. He knows how it feels to be cheated on & he told her so. He's working hard & says he's never getting married again. Right.
Thii is terrible about your SIL. I wil include her in my prayers.I pray God they can find out what is wrong with her.
Take care & hope to hear from you soon. Luv N Hugs, Barb
