Welcome to my Neighborhood & Some SNAGS

I've been taking some new directions in my life lately.  One is walking.  I started at lunch a couple of weeks ago with a ten minute walk.  Now, I'm doing 30 minutes at lunch daily.  I walk Grizzly around our cul-de-sac at night which is about 1/2 mile.  Now, I haven't lost one lb. :( but my blood pressure is super, and my pulse is lower than it's been in years.  I'm going to tweek my diet around a bit although I thought I had or was at least eating the same as pre-exercise.  Plus I can have little conversations with myself and many times God which helps relieve the stress.

I walked a couple of miles around my neigborhood today and photographed my journey.  LOL...probably pretty boring but I did a photo slide and captioned it.  It's sort of rural; something I love after the "burbs."  I love being able to walk outside and see woods.  So, if you care to see a piece of my world, feel free to take in a bit of the video.  The music is from Rockyou.com and will last until I add enough entries to "lose" it.

Girl I loved your little walk. You have some nice country scenery to look at. I'm in the city so nothing but sidewalks here. Boring. I need to start doing that myself. I would love to walk in the night I just can't handle the heat. I thought about starting out in my neighborhood and then going from there. Baby steps.
I need to diet so badly. I would like to live to see my grandson grow up. If I keep going the way I am that may not happen.
Love your tags. I need to learn how to do that noise stuff. I can never remember I did it once and now forgot LOL. That tells you how often I use my PSP.
Take care, Chrissie

I didn't realize you were out in the country.  That hill must be a real bear in the winter.  It's so great to see "real trees" and woods.  Hehee...YOU rocked ME : )  hugs,  Bethe

I know you love the country since you're out of the suburbs.  We are sorta out of the country too.  I didn't even know about Rockyou.com.  That's so cool I'm gonna try it.  I like your snags to.  Thank you for taking me on that walk with you.  I enjoyed seeing it all.

Wow!  Beautiful part of the country you live in!  PA is beautiful, isn't it?  The "burbs" part, boardering on rural, LOL!  I love it too!  That looks a lot like where I live, in central PA.  But Chris, we have a more modern but stop, LOL.  Love you girl,

Krissy :)

cute snags!! I loved your neighborhood!! its so pretty out there!!! I'd carry a stick with me when I was walking just in case there were stray dogs roaming out there

it looks very serene out there; bet it is nice and quiet at nighttime! You have such a nice looking home; love the pool area!!

good for you with the walking!!! just fine tune your diet a bit; more protein and veggies, not a lot of carbs; you'll see a difference in your weight

LUV LUV LUV the photos. And the blinkies. And YOU of course. Sorry I haven't been by. Things get better then twice as bad. I can tell you have lost weight! You look beautiful. I'm still trying to get over the attitude I got when Rich gets 5 weeks of vacation a year.  He just finished up 2 of them and I didn't get to go anywhere. You see, I'm the Grandmother of the fing year babysitter, don't you know. I can't say no. I haven't been feeling too good but a few days out of this freakin flatlands with OR without Hub would have been good enough. Oh well. Sounds like you are doing good. Getting out. Breathing that fresh beautiful rural air. Taking those beautiful walks.  Take care my friend.
Luv ya Barb

I enjoyed the stroll through your neighborhood... loved it! I love the countryside...if I were to walk through my neighborhood, and out of it, I'd be in country as well. I loved the shot you took of yourself... lovely, indeed! So good to see you, Chris! Hey, maybe you can come walk with me in my neighborhood... I'll do a video clip! Loved your choice of music... good match. Have a lovely weekend. bea
