Hello Everyone/Snags or Tags

Wow, I can't believe I haven't made an entry since the end of March.  I've just been super tired.  It took me so long to get over that strep I had and the exhaustion but my throat is getting sore again....ugh.

Anyway, I tried to keep up with the alerts but just didn't have the energy or motivation to make a tag or write a word.  I'd open this journal and just stare at it.  I haven't made a tag in a while.  The one above was from a tube of the day challenge in one of my groups from a few weeks ago.  I guess I sort of feel that way.  I know when I made it I had my strep throat.

We had some gorgeous weather but back to icey sleet today which is typical for western Pennsylvania right now.  The forsythia is just starting to bloom which is really slow this year.  A couple of hyacinths finally popped through; darned groundhog was right about this area.

I got our federal taxes sent in.  The state is done but not mailed.  Our local boroughs, towns, etc. in Pa. charge a wage tax also (right Missie...lol?).  Mine isn't taken out of my pay, nor are the kids so that will get mailed on the 15th because that is a pretty good sum.  Only thing is I haven't even started that form yet.  Wini, I will be doing that meme that you tagged me with very soon.  My biggest bad habit is procrastination.  Right now is taxes and the darned FAFSA for Megan for student aid.  She still has a few more credits to finish next fall.  I absolutely hate that form.   I do her student version plus my parent version because of all the tax info which she wouldn't have a clue about.  It has to be renewed online. I'm so nervous about it this year because of all things AOL 9.1's browser isn't supported so I don't know if it will work.  Why I wait until the last minute is beyond me.  It has to be done before May 1st in Pennsylvania.  I may have to reinstall 9.0 VR that someone graciously sent me.  So, right now I feel a bit cruddy again plus I'm worried about the darned FAFSAcrap.  I can't do anything without Megan's pin number.  She needs to send it to me but is on campus tonight.

LOL...If I would only organize myself and quit letting things go until the last minute, life would be so much easier.

Well, I'm off to pull the winter things out again since it will be cold here all week.

Here are a couple more snags or tags below.  Again, they were done a few weeks ago.  Hugs to all....muah!!!

CHRIS

beautiful work with the tags; so sorry you haven't been feeling good, Chris, these germs this year seem to be hanging on long for a lot of people that get them, my husband is on his second round of antibiotics and still not feeling up to par

taxes...........what a pain; I just did my son's online and they were super easy to do but just time consuming, I can imagine with you doing taxes and school forms, etc what a hassle; wish it was a simpler process

take care of yourself

Beautiful tags Chris!  I snagged a couple.  I am so glad my daughter took care of her own college stuff.  I tried to talk her into applying for scholarship and grant money, but she refused.  It's how my g/f and I got thru nursing school...essays, essays, essays.  Anyway, I hope you start feeling better.
hugs,  Bethe

Thanks for the tags. I snagged two of them.
You and I are so alike! I put things off until the very last minute, too. It has gotten me in trouble a couple of times, too. Terrible habit! I really need to work on that.
I hope you feel better soon. If you are getting another sore throat get to the Doc again! Don't wait like I did. OMG I was in HELL when I was sick. I hope you get well soon.
Take care...love you MUCH,
Pam xoxox

Take care, Chrissie

Really nice work Chris.  Sorry you are still feeling cruddy.  This is the first year in 45 years that I don't have to file a tax return...HooRay.  We don't have state tax here in TN.  That's a good thing too.  Feel better.
Hugs, Joyce

Glad you are feeling better, Chris... I hope you're not having a relapse... take extra vitamin C, and keep resting. It's starting to get cold here again in NC... just when we enjoyed a couple of springlike days. I am not going to get out my winter clothes, though, because my classroom is pretty warm most of the time, and I have to open windows to stay cool enough. I actually go sleeveless most of the time to avoid having hot flashes. Have a good week. get better! bea

I'm glad you feel better but it sounds like you've really been through the wringer there.  I'm so glad to see a post from you and I snagged that top tag.  Gorgeous as always.  I would have no idea what to do about the taxes.  I'm so glad Dirk handles all of that.  We should be getting our money soon.  He did ours early.

I hope you just get better and better and better.

It's come down a real cold snap here too.  Brr.  And THAT'S why I haven't gardened yet.  I knew one more was coming.

Hi Chris, Can I have the first tag (No Smile is as Beautiful) with the name Valerie on it?  Please and thank you?

I also wanted to say that I am sorry you have felt sick and felt what sounds like overwhelmed and blah lately.  That is what happens to me when I can't post.  I haven't posted in a week.  I just open and stare.  I think that means you need a break.  NEVER feel bad when you take time off from blogging or tagging.  You are entitled to.  As my sister Valerie says - we have lives!  We don't need to just blog and do tags!  And yes, that weather can really get you down, how about that?  I am in Central PA.  Ugh.  I hope it is nice too.  I hope the cold doesn't kill my bulb flowers.  I even forget what I planted but I hope the flowers are pretty when they come in, LOL.  Okay, must run, Love you,

Krissy :)

Good to hear from you Chris. Can't you use the AOL connection and open an Internet Explorer browser to go to that tax site?

Anonymous said...

Oh taxes time used to be hell time with my parents.  I dreaded it.  I do wish you an easier time than usual  I like tht snag.  seems like quite a few journalists wintered hard back there where it can really get cold.  We had such mild weather and even phoenix was cooler than usual.  I do so hope that once the taxes are done and spring is really here, you feel a whole lot perkier!  Gerry

Sorry your sick hon...Doc and I are down for the count once again. Figures with his working multiple jobs, we finally get some together time and we both end up sick. I've been in a blah frame of mind myself lately. I have a ton of letters and emails to reply to that I've been putting off for some reason. I had to do the FASFA papers for two years and dreaded it each and every time. Thankfully on SS I don't have to file taxes. I did however help Doc with his and reamed him a good one for waiting till the last minute.

Here's to hoping with Spring around the corner we both feel better and a little more like ourselves. (Hugs) Indigo

Ahhhh tax season. Don't you love it? NOT!! I got halfway through ours on turbo tax and caught an error and it wouldn't let me go back and correct it.  It also wouldn't let me restart my return. So I went to another site and got them done in no time at all. Have fun with yours!
Thanks for the snags.

I really liked the graphics in ytou journal!  I have been away, but I am back now.  I will be reading more of your jounal and if you should want to my journals are under another screen name, merry1621@aol.com.  I can't copy the link without signing off here, but look it up, One is Merry's Thoughts, and goes on, and the other is concerning Mental Health.  If you search it out through AOL jounals you will find them.  OR I can send the correct addresses to you another time.  I enjoyed visiting your journal, and I hope you will visit mine.  Merry
