Thinking Spring with Flowers

I was originally going to offer this as a snag or tag but Fotki is messing around with the size and animation so back to Photobucket it went.  Obviously, AOL is messing with it so it's going to be snag only from the journal.  Sorry....

Anyway, I have been in a fuss, what else is new?  It's something that I just hate about Valentine's Day and never fell prey to.  My BF is sick, once again.  Ok...I should be compassionate but he seems to always have something.  He never even called to wish me a Happy Valentine's Day.  He used to be far more romantic in very small but cute ways.  Yeah, I'm still PO'd.  I think he needs a wake up call.  I haven't quite decided what I'll do about it.  No going out this weekend because he works on Sunday....blah, blah.  Of course, he was mad because I wanted to go out last night so now's he pouting like a baby.  I never see him much anymore anyway except when he needs my guidance and support about various things; then I'm the first he calls.  Can we say I have some deeply buried resentment that's rearing it's ugly head again?

Megan came home and has my car somewhere.  I'm just one fussing witch.  So much for squeezing those lemons.  She's applying for summer internships all over the country and the world.  She is trying to get one in London this summer.  Can we say Chris will be visiting the UK if she does?  Oh boy, would I love that.

It's been cold, icy, snowing, you name it all week.  The sun is shining today but it's still so darned cold outside.  I think I'm suffering from the winter blahs big time.

Keep Jackie, Lisa Jo and family, and all those suffering from that vicious bug going around in your prayers.  It's been a dreadful winter here.

If you'd like the tulip siggy, I'll make ya one.  Just leave me a comment or send me an e-mail.  HUGS

oh baby....

this winter is enough to break us..you know? it has been  a hell of a winter...i know how you feel and i love you....so much......BF needs to wake up and realize what a true TREASURE has with you.....damn men.....if you get on a plane this year, i wanna go too. Imagine if right now we were sitting under an umbrella in a hot tropic with the foo foo drinks....no worries. Wouldnt that be awesome?! SIGH.

I hope that Jackie is ok....i can not believe how easily it has been to get sick this winter.

I love it when you update...please do that more often.

Your Spring tags are a breath of fresh air.  Seems there is something very nasty biting a lot of us...me recently.  I hope your BF feels up to going out and celebrating with the wonderful woman in his life.  What a treasure you are...just always the best.  Hope you get to go on that trip....I would go too if I were you.  Always worried about those you mentioned, this has been the worst year for many...hugs and love,
Joyce

Cheer up girlfriend.  Spring will be here before you know.  I would be mad at BF too.  Men are so insensitive. Hope you have a nice weekend.  Why not go out with the girls (or not) and tell him what a great time you had (just in passing).
I do like the tulip ziggy.  May I please have one.

Hugs, Joyce

i was having the same problem with fotki but i was told when they right click and save as it saves as the normal size it was made they just resize the tags so the ads can fit on the page.

It's funny, I always assume that if you have a boyfriend or husband than your sure to have a good Valentines Day, no one can forget that date, but I guess I was wrong. How dare he not even call you, oh no!! Someone needs a huge kick in the ass. Maybe right out the door for good? lol
I hope he makes it up to you when he's feeling better.
It's been freezing here all week but It's nice to see the sunshine today. I usually love winter but this year I just want it to hurry up and get to spring.
Beautiful graphics as always. I hope you have a great weekend!

Awwwww I wish I could invite you to sunny warm TX but we were 72 Monday and today we are in the 30s today with freezing rain. Ugh. The girls are supposed to go to a birthday party. I''m not sure they are going. We'll see. I HATW icy even if it's just "patchy". LOL Sorry to hear BF is sick and  insensitive. Maybe you need a  new teddy and some massage oil. He's getting too comfortable. LOLOL I picked out a ring I wanted or I would have gotten a card. Son got me flowers and candy. Just what I need....the candy. the candy was champagne hershey kisses in a champagne shaped bottle. tasty.  Someone is always sick around here.Plus we had to take the cat have her cat amputated. Of course I AM the one who has to keep her locked up in the laundry room until Monday. Give her the antibiotics. Make sure she doesn't chew on her bobtail. LOL Poor kitty. It was bad infected.
If Megan goes to the UK I'd be there in a  heartbeat. I have a friend whose daughter studied in London 2 years and they went over their twice. They loved it.  Who wouldn't?
I'd LOVE to have the tulip signature tage with Barb.
Better get busy.
Hugs N Luv Barb

When my b/f gave me a chinsy gift are 3 yrs and forgot my birthday, it was the first of many red flags that he had something else (or someone else) on his mind.  Turned out to be someone else.  I tried for nearly a year to make it work until it crumbled irrairabley.  And God knows, I tried hard.  Unfortuenately, I started being the brunt of his verbal mantal abuse.

And, found myself boiling mad and telling him he had no right to feel he was better than me or anyone else. Guess I knew an ending was inevitable.

I hope you can talk with him and feel better about the situation.
Also, i love the  "Youn at Heart" and may I have one of the "Tulips".  did you know we don't have Tulips down here...the ground doesn't freeze.

Wish I could send some sun shine, Bethe

I'm sorry that your BF is sick or out of commission.  I'll be praying for you - that he starts to realize your specialness and gets off his duff to be that romantic guy he used to be.   My dream when I was young was to be in a relationship where I need him more than he needs me.  My late husband was that man ... I'm married again.  Didn't get my wish this time.  May I have the Tulip siggy with Penny on it?  Thank you in advance.  Blessings, Penny  http://journals.aol.com/firestormkids04/FromHeretoThere

Sounds like your Bf needs a swift kick in the butt right about now. I'm not a big VD person myself, but it wouldn't have hurt him to call and at the very least say I'm thinking about you. He needs to start finding excuses to be with you instead of away from you, or find the curb. I'm sorry hon, your such a wonderful, compassionate beautiful spirit you deserve more.

Sounds like Megan is going to have a mini adventure with this intership. Here's to hoping Spring gets a move on and starts to slowly push winter out of the scene. Your in my thoughts and heart dear friend. (Hugs) Indigo

Oh, I just love "Young at Heart" and had to snag it.  I saw your first entry and hope whatever it is that worries you does not pan out to be too bad.  I think you all have had a dreadful winter back there  We have even had a lot of overcast days in Arizona defined by sun but that was for the good.  I hope your shoulder is better, but if cold weather affects you like it does me, winter is not good for aches and pains.  I feel a poem forming around this graphic, and will let you know when I post it.  Gerry  http://journals.aol.com/gehi6/daughters-of-the-shadow-men/
