Counting down to Christmas Day. Megan, Joey and I went and ate at my BF's with his mother and brother. He made a ham, turkey,stuffing, cheesy potatoes, candied carrots and a bunch of other stuff.
His mother just got out of the hospital. She had pneumonia and then developed steroid psychosis from high doses of steroids. I'm happy to say that she is home and her mind is clear again.
I took some pictures. I'm certainly looking quite "healthy" if you get my drift, like a linebacker. Oy! Joey has gained weight but he actually needed to. Reminding myself to position my head right to hide the triple chins. Megan has gotten really thin. She's still my beautiful baby. I got a new memory card for my camera. Actually, two for the price of one. I had no idea what I needed or what to get. I sort of recalled what I bought two years ago. Anyway, they are the proper cards but each card holds 1,200 pictures. $20 at Walmart...lol.
Anyway, I'm off to do nothing. The kids are back in Pittsburgh. Megan is driving Becky's old car, the "Tempo" of doom. The Cutlass is shot. Anyway, poor kid lost the muffler on the way back to celebrate Christmas Eve. She and Joey are together. She is spastic about driving the car without the muffler. Always something.
I made a siggy tag below. If you want one, let me know. I'll be off until Thurs. so I'll have time to do them. I'm not sure what is up with AOL. I'm having more people tell me that even the attachments aren't saving the animation properly. Even snagging from the journal isn't either. I'm wondering if it's because I'm using 9.1 now. That shouldn't make a difference. O well.... Blessings!

Loved the pictures. Just to let you know I tried to snag the graphics just to see if I could and mine wouldn't let me save the animation either. I wonder IF that version has something to do with it I'm not on that one.

Oh old cars for kids. I remember the only car my dad ever bought for any of us was one he bought for my sister Ann when she was in college, and it would vapor lock and wouldn't go for an hour, but she was patient and put up with it the whole time. Kids will do anything to have a car. I didn't want one, I juist wanted to be in plays. My grandson Jamal, 16, got his first car so his busy parents wouldn't have to drive him everywhere, but he inherited one of theirs and they got the new one! So glad the furnace is working again and you all look very happy for Xmas in spite of the money drain of what you had saved up. I remember praying my car would not break down when I was a single Mom.
