Life Blooms in Color/SNAGS or TAGS

LOL...my life is blooming again in color.  I've had a rough summer somewhat; nothing earth shattering but many worries.  Plus not smoking seems to have changed my personality.  Me without nicotine....I'm happy I'm not filling myself with toxins, totally happy.  I don't notice that I have more money because other financial things have popped up but I'm not feeding the tobacco companies.  But, and a big but, I'm just not the same person nicotine free.  I'm not so sure right now I like the nicotine free mind but I won't go back to poisoning my body.

The tag above won 1st place in a word art contest in my psp group which shocked me totally because almost all the talented graphic creators are in my group.  I just loved the (tube) or the in layman's terms, the girl in the tag.

It chilly and raining cats and dogs here again.  Weird summer.  Cold and rainy or so hot and dry and humid that it was hard to breathe.  Megan is back in Pittsburgh but home this weekend.  She needed more things.  Yuck....a trip to Pittsburgh for me tonight in the rain.  She is still going to work 20 hrs a week while in school.  Hoping this all works out for her.

Anyway, I have a couple of tags I made a while ago that I didn't post.  Last week was just an awful week for me but things are looking up, I hope.  Yikes, I just found a few more in Photobucket that I never posted so I'll be back later tonight and I'll post those.  It's an early dinner time tonight....meatloaf, sugar snap peas and buttered red skin potates.  It was cold and rainy so no grilling.

(Terry Ann and Sally, I'll get your tags to you tonight.)

The tag was definitely worth a first place, just wonderful.   I think I was more social as a smoker then I am now, but I think all of us huddled outdoors for warmth in Jan so we could continue to smoke the stupid things brought us together in our guilt and embarrassment to be letting this silly habit get us out there, LOL.  Now I seldom take a break,my  bad  and work my 12.5 straight.

So glad to see signs you are rambling in J-land again.  I would like to have gone to the Journals cafe but had so much trouble with aol software it remains uninstalled after it had to be uninstalled so my on line phone could work.  I love love my online phone.  The price is right, too.  I have to limp ever once in a while without it, but it behaved so badly with me turning its self on constantly.  I had a one phone dialup and it erupted all my phone conversations and I could not keep it shut down.  I hate that feature.  Oh dear, well, I got married away, but anyway I love that graphic that won you a prize.   Gerry

I too felt  so strange when I quit smoking...for one thing I didn't know what to do with my hands anymore! lol But I like you loved the fact that I wasn't making some big guy richER than he already was while I was killing my lungs...I saved a lot of money...enough to pay for my very first NEW car payments!
Love ya,
carlene

Your tag is very creative!  You should be proud of yourself!  I don't know why you would be surprised you won, you silly girl.  Now, why wouldn't you like the new you?  Maybe you just need time to be in your own skin.  You are a very special person.  And enjoy the money you have saved!  And be very proud of yourself for being smokefree.  You go girl!

Why don't you like your nicotine free mind?  What do you think is different?  Maybe some counseling would help?  I worry about you... you have so much on your plate... email me anytime...

be well,

Snagged both of the tags, absolutely loved them. I know exactly where your coming from hon! In more ways than you can count.....I tried giving up smoking when I first quit drinking. Too much at one time, tried again when I lost my hearing, again when I first recieved Pickles. It's the last remenant of my former life. I'm not complaining I like me better now. I'm just not ready for sqeaky clean, no bad habit behavior. Sometimes I wonder if life will ever fully settle down enough for me to cross that bridge......my life, yeah right (winks). I'm proud of you hon, for sticking to your guns even with this feeling. This has indeed been a weird , unusual summer. I'm suppose to enter the Artsy Essay Contest, the topic is "Squeezing every last bit of sunshine out of summer". I got a few things I would love to squeeze shut, and it isn't sunshine. (Hugs) Indigo

Hi I have a strange question for you :) Do you have any good advice for me on how to get water to move? I have found a tutorial and for some reason can NOT figure it out. It is so frustrating! I am new to PSP and post all of my tags I make on My Creative Corner I have figured out everything else self teaching but would LOVE to be able to make water move so since you seem to have it mastered maybe you have some advice for me?? Any would be greatly appreciated! Your tags are all beautiful!
Thanks a ton,
Robyn
